Koyabell is the total package of fitness. Koyabell is fun, exciting, and most importantly delivers results fast. How fast? Our average student experiences a 10 to 20lb transformation their first 6 weeks. Koyabell combines the use of kettlebells, specific bodyweight exercises, yoga, and deep visualization techniques. If you are wondering what kettlebells are they are cast iron weights, ranging from 5 lbs to over 100 lbs. These specialized weights offer a unique type of training, targeting all aspects of fitness including endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio.Our head Coach and creator of Koyabell, Rish Koya has been a trainer since late 1998, and trained with and taught kettlebell since 2000. His goal was to develop a kettlebell program not designed just for athletes, but one accessible to everybody and every BODY. That’s why at Koyabell Fitness we affectionately refer to it as Koyabell: nobody else in the world teaches Rish’s style of kettlebell training. You will only find Koyabell at Koyabell Fitness!

The average transformation our students experience is 10 to 20 pounds. This usually happens in their first six weeks alone. After that, business really picks up as far the body is concerned! Notice how we say “transformation” and not weight loss? When losing “weight” you need to ask yourself what kind of weight are you really losing? Is it fat or is it muscle? With our program you are losing fat while building lean, sexy muscle. What does this mean for you? Quite simply a dramatic transformation in a very short period of time!
To make it clear, we are not a gym. Far from it. In fact, we are the opposite of most gyms. We are Koyabell Fitness. We specialize in small, intimate group classes that we run at our transformation centres. We currently have two transformation centres, one located in New Westminster, BC, Canada and the other in Surrey, BC, Canada. We show you a simple path to health and fitness success. You are never alone at Koyabell Fitness – we are with you every step of the way.
How do I start?
The first thing you need to do is register for a Koyabell Introduction Workshop. The workshop covers both kettlebell safety and the basic kettlebell movements we use in our group classes. You will also be taught the key body weight movements we use in class along with proper form.
Other aspects of our program are also covered in the Introduction Workshop, with the big one being nutrition. The workshop is not just about learning, it also about doing. At the end of the workshop, we have you immediately apply your newfound knowledge by putting you through a sample class so you know exactly what you are getting into. At the end of your class, once your heart rate has come down and the sweating has somewhat stopped, you have the opportunity to choose a Group Class time slot that best fits your schedule. Choose the days and times that work best for you.
Remember, you only need to come in for one hour, 3x a week for your group classes. This is your hour of power, one hour that is all about you. It’s your time to come in and challenge yourself. This is your time to improve your body composition, to help heal old injuries and/or prevent future ones from happening, to lower your levels of stress, and to make yourself tougher. Not only physically but mentally. You will be doing so with a small group of like-minded teammates who share similar goals to yours. All of this takes place in a positive and supportive environment where everyone encourages one another. You will be lead by one of our very talented coaches who truly care for you and will do everything they can to help you to not only achieve your goals, but to exceed them.
