I have noticed a couple of things.
I think I may be sensitive to the colours of the mats used in the workout. If I use a red or a yellow mat I am not as mentally… I dunno… I just don’t feel as “right” as when I use blue or green mats. Colours link to mind state, even while working out? Hmm.
The other thing I noticed is how much the person to person support at New You Health Transformations changes the entire workout/pursuit of health experience and process. My friends don’t really workout… at least they don’t talk about it. It’s nice to have people to talk to stuff about. Whether it’s a mental fail day, something about food, or how many burpees a certain coach makes the class do. 😉 It’s nice, and most valuable when I’m having a fail day, or a fail week. Fail meaning I can’t see/feel much of anything good – a mental block I guess. Even after supportive comments I may feel like I’m still in the hole, but somehow underneath it all the support is there and working it’s magic without my knowing.
And here is the halfway selfie as promised. This post and these pictures are late because hey, life is crazy, and school is crazy, and I was having difficulty accepting my Monday selfie. I hate it. With a passion. So I waited a couple days and took an additional picture of me in pants I couldn’t fit before. They are still pretty tight, but I wore them for the day anyway. 😛
I’m sore from Koyabell yesterday. Must. Do. Morning workout anyway… argh morning struggle.
Ta-ta for now.
