Well look at that, it’s cheat day again, and what do I want to eat? Nothing in particular. It’s nice to have less cravings now, not to mention less candy induced guilt. 😉
This evening at my practicum I will be co-facilitating an art group and providing snacks. This time I will be able to eat them if I want to due to this well timed cheat day.
Last night I went downtown to the Astoria for a couple friends’ birthdays. It was a good experience. I strategically arrived later, around 23:30, so that I would have less time around triggers. I did not drink alcohol, or have cigarette cravings, or anything really. Some of my friends were too drunk to talk to but that’s ok. 😛 I’ll admit, I felt a bit alien at times because I was not participating in the bar culture and therefore didn’t have a lot to say and found it difficult to care about what people were saying. But that’s usually how being sober at a bar goes! Depending on how many other sober or intelligent drunks are there, which is usually next to nil.
I received a few compliments at the bar as well. I think the work is starting to show physically. Yay! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Plus I was lookin’ pretty stylish. Hadn’t dressed up in awhile so I put on the ritz a bit.
And, even though I arrived home rather late, I was able to wake up at 08:30 this morning! Fantastic!
Since Coach Rish Koya has had me doing a workout when I wake up in the mornings, I’ve been up earlier on all days, more efficient with my morning time, and more protective of my precious sleep time. IT’S MINE. YOU CAN’T HAVE IT WORLD!
Also, if I do my wake-up routine and attend a Koyabell class a couple hours later, I kill that class. It feels so much easier. Remember: the second workout of the day always feels easier than the first, which let’s you push your mind and body farther.
Since today is Saturday, this is the one day where I don’t have to workout at all if I don’t want to. At least that’s my understanding from the schedule I have from Coach Rish.
Well that’s all I’ve got for now.
