Greetings! My name is Eivi, and I’m participating in the Lean, Cut, & Straight Up Jacked! Personalized Nutrition Program.

A little about me:

Fitness has never been my thing, let alone being healthy. Asthma contributed to my weight while growing up, as did the using food as my number one coping tool – a struggle I continue with today. Around 3 years ago I took my first stab at health, heh-heh, take that health. Ok, I’m being silly. Anyway,by using my local gym all alone and eating very simple plain meals, I lost 50lbs from my 200lbs total. I’m about 5’6.

But that’s where it all ended. I felt satisfied and lost my motivation. I also felt bored and wanted to not have to bother going to get sweaty any more. The 50lbs have slowly creeped back into my life, along with the the loathing and purchase of larger clothes. Again, I became sick of my own $#@! and tried the same method. Even with jogging and light bicycling in the non-rainy season I found I was not gaining much of anything in the strength or esthetic department. Sure, the numbers on the bathroom scale changed, but I wasn’t changing. Nothing was happening. After another year I became sick of it all and decided perhaps I needed people. Structure. Someone to tell me what to do so I can turn my brain off and relax for a bit. Motivation, accountability, and support. I found New You Health Transformations in my neighbourhood, New Westminster, and ended my search right then and there.

I began my new life with New You Health Transformation some time in October 2014. I say new life because it totally is.
Coach Rish Koya has made his Koyabell Program very accessible and friendly. I was a little nervous, and afraid of looking like a fool messing up a move or exercising in general. Coach Rish has been awesome and incredibly supportive since day one, and so has every coach and every superstar participant!

Despite my new found support, I still have trouble with my eating. Sugar in particular. I love it. I LOVE IT. YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE SINFUL AMOUNTS OF SUGARY THINGS I HAVE EATEN WITHIN A TIME SPAN OF 15 MINUTES. IT’S DISGUSTING! 😀 😀 😀

This plan starts with getting me off the sugar for 7 days. Speaking of which, I am getting very sleepy but very hungry. Urge to night munch RISING. Uh-oh. I better go to bed and dream of kettle bells instead of kettle chips.

Oh yeah, and the number one thing I have obtained from Koyabell since October 2014 is…………………… self-respect. Good night!
