Head Coach Rish Koya shares the new schedule at New You Transformations for the upcoming weeks.
Starting Monday, September 29th, Koyabell kettlebell group workout classes will now be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 am, 5 pm and 7 pm.
If you want to be part of the class being filmed for the online offering, there will be a new, special class taught by Coach Rish on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm starting Wednesday, October 1st. If you come to this class, be ready to be on camera, and we’ll also be asking you to sign a media release form.
Workshops are now being held Mondays and Fridays at 6 pm, Saturdays at 11 am and Sundays at 1 pm. These are two hours long. Register at www.newyoutransform.com!

Today, we have a quick note about breakfast. Many of skip breakfast or have a coffee when we first wake up and just grab something later in the morning. Does this sound familiar? It’s not really the best strategy for weight loss, and here’s why.
The body always in one of two states: anabolic or catabolic. Anabolic means the body is feeding itself from body fat, while catabolic means the body is using lean muscle to get its energy. You really want your body to be in an anabolic state as much as possible.
Make no mistake, the best way to burn body fat is to put on as much lean muscle as possible.
Our bodies are actually in a catabolic state when we wake up, so the goal is to eat breakfast, every single morning, within a half an hour to an hour of waking up. By feeding the body soon after waking, you ensure you are getting your energy from your body fat instead of that very important lean muscle.
